In Oregon, the Safe Routes to School program has been supporting the desire of communities to improve the quality of life for kids and families by supporting students’ ability to walk, bike, and roll safely to school. Oregon continues to have great support for SRTS and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has continued to allocate STP funds to help fund local SRTS programs. 

There are several communities and school districts througout Oregon that have or have had SRTS programs or projects. The map above shows all SRTS projects funded through Oregon's SRTS Program.  Use the Legend above to see the communities on the map or below in a list:

non infra icon32  Non- Infrastructure: these communities have received SRTS Non-Infrastructure (Programmatic) funding which includes Encouragement, Education and Enforcement activities.

Infra icon32  Infrastructure: These communities have received SRTS Infrastructure- engineering- awards through Oregon's SRTS Program.

ActionPlan icon32 Action Plans: these communities have Action Plans outlining priorities for both Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure programs. Action Plans are great tools when looking for funds and implementing projects.

Bikes icon32Bikes: these communities have bike fleets. Some have trailers and some are willing to share their bikes with other communities.
