Equity Training: Disability Justice & Accessibility

In lieu of our November webinar, we invite you to attend this equity training.

Participants will learn about accessibility to services in terms of disability and mental health, and reflect on areas of need for Safe Routes. We will look at the principles of Disability Justice and hone in on an inclusive model that is dignified, empowering and liberatory. Participants will discuss intersectionality, and connections between ableism and racism. We will reflect on our own biases and attitudes, and wrap all the learnings together to apply to our programs and services at Safe Routes.
