Part 1: Oregon Safe Routes to School Training Webinar

Who is this training for? This training is more introductory and is designed to give an overview of Safe Routes to School for staff and volunteers who are new to these programs.
What: Register for the Oregon Safe Routes to School Training. The training will be held over two sessions on Friday, July 17, and Friday, July 24, 2020, and will cover the 6 elements of Safe Routes to School (Engineering, Education, Encouragement, Enforcement, Evaluation, and Equity) with a special focus on Education and Encouragement. This training is free. By the end of the first Safe Routes to School training, participants will:
- Have an overview understanding of statewide Safe Routes to School in Oregon.
- Understand the elements of Safe Routes to School (Engineering, Education, Encouragement, Enforcement, Evaluation, and Equity)
- Begin problem solving challenges when implementing Safe Routes to School programs
