WASHTO Scholarship: For current college students interested in transportation!
Through ODOT’s partnership with the Western Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (WASHTO), we are able to provide an annual $1,000 scholarship to current college students who have professed an interest in working in the Transportation field. The requirements to be eligible to apply for this scholarship include: applicants must be enrolling as a college junior or above for fall term/semester at a four-year college (at least half-time); preferred to have a GPA of 3.00+; preferred transportation-related career field; required to complete FAFSA (scholarship award based on financial need). Apply and compete annually. Applicants will complete an essay of 500 words or less answering the question “What contribution does transportation make to the State of Oregon?
