High School Sticker Contest

We are inviting Oregon high school students to design a creative and eye-catching sticker that encourages students to walk, bike, ride transit, or carpool to school. The sticker will be part of our new campaign to promote sustainable transportation and safer routes to school. The winning design will be used on stickers that will be distributed in high schools across the state of Oregon.

Target Audience: The design should appeal to high school students (ages 14-18). Think about bold, energetic, and youthful designs that make walking, biking, and using transit feel cool, smart, and fun.

Design Elements:

  • Transportation Methods: The design should feature at least one of the following: walking, biking, public transit, or carpooling.
  • Safety and Sustainability: Emphasize safety, community, or environmental benefits (e.g., green spaces, clean air, reduced traffic).
  • Style: The design should be vibrant, visually appealing, and suitable for a sticker. Consider modern styles such as minimalism, bold graphics, or street art vibes.

Color and Size: Use bold, contrasting colors that stand out. Stickers should be roughly 4 inches in size (you can submit the design in any size, but it will be resized for printing). The design can be round, oval, rectangular, or square shaped.

Original Work:
The design must be original and created by you. It should not include copyrighted images, logos, or trademarks.

Submission Format: Submit your design as a high-resolution digital file (preferably in .png, .jpg, or .ai format). Your art can be on physical media like paper but should have a high-quality photograph or scan taken of it.

Deadline: All submissions must be received by February 28. Late entries will not be considered.

Judging Criteria:
Entries will be judged based on the following:

  • Creativity: Is the design unique and original?

  • Visual Appeal: Is the design eye-catching and suitable for a high school audience?
